Review on McDavid 421 Level 2 Knee Support with Stays: Black, X-Large - Advanced Compression and Stability for Pain Relief and Sports Recovery by James Nedumaran

Purchased for a degenerative left knee that needed to overcompensate a right knee that had multiple ACL reconstruction surgeries. I wanted my left knee to have a little more support during intense workouts as I feel friction and a slight slippage with every squat (squat or lunge). I was looking for an orthosis that would provide primarily medial/lateral support. While this brace is very true to size and works well for patellar support, it doesn't give me the confidence in lateral support that I was looking for. "Soft support" means two ribs of thicker material that run down the sides of the orthosis, but without structural support. I returned this item after trying it on for a minute and ordered some level 3/3+ suspenders to see if they fit. works (the main downside here is that more hardware = more weight). It is more than likely to provide great support as a 'reinforced' knee brace for minor issues, but is not suitable for gender restoration or more serious issues which can lead to major problems if left unchecked.
