I love that the velcro has big plastic tabs on the ends so you don't have to force it open. There is also good lateral knee support.

McDavid braces are the best! I am very active in sports and use McDavid knee and ankle bandages. It's very comfortable and flexible for what I'm doing and most importantly it's stable and I'm not worried about re-injury. You will not be disappointed!

I ordered these braces to replace the braces my doctor gave me. It's a little smaller compared to other brands, but stylish and offers great support. I would recommend ordering a size up [old brace was XL and was too big, ordered L and XL to try - L was too small, XL was very tight] **but I also have very muscular/large legs! **

I really like this knee pad. It is well made and fits perfectly. What I really like is that it slides down the leg and the front straps hold it in place like a buckle on a pair of pants. Other braces (I've had a lot of them) wear out after long periods of wear, straps attached with velcro or some other type of fastener. I play racquetball three times a week and if the straps holding the brace loosen while playing, it's time for a new brace. I have a feeling this bandage will last a long time.

This knee brace is great for me. I've had a knee that sounds like a popcorn pan for 20 years and have been through multiple knee braces. this is the best so far. SIZING ISSUES: I'm on the verge of a large/xl and have upsized due to size comments. The one I received (xl) is a little big but works well due to the compression straps. I believe the size chart is accurate, it should be tight. My next one will be large but they are well made and will last a few years.

The thing is that I liked the quality of this product and the design, the reason why it got only four stars is because of their size slightly deviated from the support was what I thought was right until I really started sweating, then it didn't support at all, it actually loosened up and started slipping off my knee. Beautifully constructed with quality materials. The sizing information you use to calculate your fit was correct. The knee pads fit snugly and neatly as you would expect. I felt an immediate improvement after installing it but not 100% - I would be 75-80% which made a HUGE difference in terms of pain. My pain was definitely more bearable! However. Just a warning. I have this dual strap version for use in the gym and for exercising in the garden. I just signed up and took a trip to the gym. I'll update/edit later if my mind changes. The orthosis did not slip at all during elliptical training. The straps kept it in place, unlike my old strapless neoprene sleeve. The lateral "springs" also seem to increase stability.
