This lamp currently provides better image quality than other third party lamps. Let's see how long that takes and if that's not acceptable I'll update (assuming if I don't update it's still working or working, that's the normal lifecycle). After a month or two, my other third-party bulbs burned out. So far they are very bright and have excellent color rendering. I am very satisfied with the picture quality. As with all projectors, the darker the room the better, and using a real screen will produce a better image too. I do both and we are very happy with the results at 1080p.
