Friction and grinding
This "snapper" has way too much friction. When you compress it, you are fighting more against grinding and friction of sliding parts than the spring. For the same reason, the snap is weak. It's made from stainless steel, which is nice, but the construction is abysmal, leading to friction, and loss of functionality. Another "fine" product made in China!
