When I say not for everyone, it doesn't have a negative connotation. If you like hearing deep bass and like noise canceling headphones, then these aren't for you. However, they have a great sound for what they are designed for. They are great for work environments where you need to be aware of your surroundings. They also work great at the shooting range (add two earbuds and shoot the targets). When you get a call, the call is still loud and clear, and you can still hear it even with the earbuds on. This would probably be best in combat situations. I just wish Aftershokz made them in military camouflage colors. I have both Trekz Titanium Aftershokz and Trekz Aeroplex Aftershokz. Aeroplex is much more comfortable and appears to be much lighter. I would definitely recommend both options to anyone who needs to keep their listening environment open-ended. Even the cheaper of the two pairs was great! My last pair lasted 6 months but I sent Aftershokz my warranty information and they sent me a brand new pair of titanium earbuds for free about 2 days later when the second pair lasted over 2 years. These guys are great! Customer service was great and all round a good company to do business with. β€β€
