This is a great bed, I bought it expecting it to fall (poor suction) or snap (poor PVC) but it holds up very well. The bed itself is rough plastic, which doesn't really bother my cat, but you'll probably need to add something to make it comfortable in the long run. I had to move it back and forth a few times to find the spot the cat prefers, so thought I'd give a few placement tips; 1. Obviously, but clean the window, put a few drops of water in the suction cup and let it dry so that it sticks well.2. The pillowcases fit the frame very well (with a few nicks) and are machine washable.3. In order for the frame to lay flat on the window, the top and bottom suction cups should be almost exactly the same frame length (the longest measurement), so use the frame to position all the suction cups against each other, not by eye.
