They are strong and thin - they look crushed even if left on the bedroom floor overnight. My son is very slim and they fit great - high waisted so if you have a child who wants to wear everything very low this won't work. They looked great at an orchestral concert which was the goal. Also used as a costume for a very petite 14 year old girl.
