Review on Replacement 202X CF500A CF500X 202A by Shawn Sims

I've been using True Image cartridges for 3 years now with no problems. But a few days ago, a printer firmware update message popped up on my computer, and without thinking, I clicked Yes. Then the cartridges in my printer stopped working afterwards. I took them out and put them back in, but it didn't do anything. I still get a "feed problem" message on the printer screen. I thought it was a problem with the True Image cartridges so I bought another set from a different brand but unfortunately the other one didn't work either which made me think that after firmware updates my printer was probably no longer compatible Cartridges could print or "Supplies problem". So I had to buy a set of original cartridges (which cost me $400) at our local Fry's. After inserting the original cartridges, the error message disappeared. The firmware update is clearly HP's strategy to force users to only use HP supplies, that's how I see it. Since the compatible cartridges stopped working I decided to return them. The return window for the True Image order was already closed, so I sent a message to ask the seller how to handle these cartridges. The seller gave me a short reply and offered me 3 options including a refund. It was really generous of them. Since I was a regular customer and their products had a good track record, I jumped at the chance and wanted to see what they could do, so I asked for tech support. And yes, they were very patient in helping me downgrade my printer's firmware. . Literally 10 minutes later, my printer magically returned to normal. Your compatible cartridges have been re-accepted by the printer, just like the original cartridges. Thanks engineer for your help. True Image cares about customers and offers great products and support.
