I wasn't sure if it would work but it did. I shot YouTube videos using lavalier mics and my DSLR. After seeing many people using large condenser mics I wanted to give it a try. I think it's better than the Lava mic, but not much better. I can't tell any difference when listening on my laptop. I hear a little more with headphones. It was more noticeable when I heard it on my car radio. Very easy to set up. My only complaint is that I can't find a full instruction manual.
