One of the granddaughters is obsessed with putting her feet through the holes in the crib and getting stuck there. When the kids grew up we had a thick bumper to prevent that from happening, but now we know it's probably not the best idea :-). However, this is the perfect balance to solve the problem. It's very breathable so there's less risk of a problem, it's very easy to put on and so far she hasn't been able to remove it. Every once in a while she pushes the tread down, but since it's been installed she's never put a foot through the slats. Great and simple solution. The best view.
