Review on Renewed Logitech K800 Wireless πŸ’‘ Illuminated Keyboard: Brighter, Better, and More Convenient by Runbi Alvarez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Such a deal!

Firstly I don't give five star reviews because many of them are fake. But this one probably deserves it, but I'm only giving it a 4 anyways to stand out from the fake reviews. I'm a big fan of Logitech products in general. Because I work in the computer industry, I trade, use, sell or simply manage a variety of computer products and Logitech never disappoints. The K800 came out in 2010 and was bought as a Christmas present for me. I have never spent so much money on myself so this was the perfect gift for me. It has become my daily workhorse, consuming about 70+ hours a week between my work and personal life. Unfortunately, after years of dust and particles, no amount of maintenance and cleaning could ensure that it lasts forever. In fact, the spacebar on my latest one has been polished to a high gloss. So I needed a new keyboard, but I didn't want to spend $90 on a new keyboard, no matter how much I liked it. . I was pleasantly surprised to see an "updated" product, but was squeamish because in my experience updated = refurbished, and that could mean anything from someone's junk that's been cleaned to something that's still in the factory was new and was returned with the box open. I've been lucky. Not only was this keyboard brand new, but apparently Logitech had improved the technology. The keys are now textured and the key mechanism is much quieter and smoother while providing excellent tactile feedback. I feel like I got a lot here. It doesn't happen often.
