I added a top to my truck. The rear window is now essentially a minivan. Collects all road dirt on a wet road. I installed this motor on the rear window and turned it on using a toggle switch. Now when it rains, I just flip the switch and the wipers work. It doesn't have a parking lot, so when I flip the toggle switch it stops where it is. The only thing I don't like is the on/off switch on the motor itself. Normal road vibrations will cause the derailleur to move and the motor to stop on its own. I fixed the switch in the on position and control its operation via the toggle switch. I didn't even have to run a ground wire. The molding created the floor I needed once the motor was installed. If necessary, grounding takes place.
