Priced very reasonable and made of quality materials. I was able to replace the latch on my 2002 Toyota Sequoia and have not had any issues opening our closing it ever since.

This product was simple to install following a you tube via for trunk latch 2016 Kia Sorento. Initially I needed to use a key to manually open the truck as the key fob and door button would not work. After troubleshooting for some time it turns out that when I reconnected the electrical component (a simple clip), I pinched one of the connectors. Once identified, I adjusted and reconnected. Everything now works as described. Would purchase again

My trunk latch was broken for over a year. First it was stuck shut and would never open, then it was stuck open and never would shut. (It's a long story.) So glad we had the idea to try to fix it ourselves! In minutes, we were able to replace the latch and the trunk was opening and shutting again. For $30! I took off a star because I have to use a little force when I shut it to get it to latch close and not bounce back up. I'm not sure if that's the latch's or my trunk's issue. But it does seem

2002 Toyota SequoiaI didn't necessarily need this part but it was cheaper to buy the actuator with the cable, then buying the cable separately. Replaced all parts I needed to in order to fix my trunk. It was a little tricky at some points but as a girl with small hands I was able to manuever and wiggle everything into place.

Should've just ordered this the first time my trunk didn't want to latch but I waited thinking it was a one time thing. yeah well now I have a dented deck lid because I was too cheap to replace the part earlier. Don't be like me just order the part and put it in its cheap and takes 10 minutes to put in yourself

It’s always a bad day when all of a sudden the trunk of your car won’t stay closed. Went to Auto Zone and they wanted to charge over $50 for this part that I would still have to order. Happy to get this part for a great price and more excited about the fact it works perfectly.

Kia was asking 4x the amount I’ve paid with Walmart. Works perfectly. Installation with help from YouTube school, my trunk was back in working order within a day. Love prime!

Great quick fix and super cost effective compared to OEM price at dealership that was four times as much. Granted in theory it may not last as long as the an OEM part but then the OEM part only lasted 3 years anyway in a brand new truck. I can buy three more for the price of one of them at the dealership. Very frustrating when your 3 year old truck starts to fail closing the liftgate tight enough to keep the rear liftgate from saying it is open when it was not, kept setting off the car alarm.

The dealer was going to charge $375 to do this. The part worked perfectly and it was easy to install after watching a YouTube video. I have $350 now to spend at Starbucks!?

I followed a youtube video, had no trouble replacing my broken trunk latch actuator in my 2016 Elantra SE. The item has worked without any issues.

The dealer wanted about $600 to fix my trunk latch. I went on YouTube to trouble shoot the issue and found I can order a replacement piece (Non-OEM) for under $25 and realized this is worth a shot. Worst case, I could return the piece.It took more time to take off the liner of my trunk than it did for me to actually replace the part. I saved myself over $550 and happy to say I did it myself!

Fit exactly very easily. Very good for the price. The actual catch of the mechanism is plastic, but so is the one on the OEM part.

Super easy to install. I could definitely see how the cable connection could give some an issue but with a small mirror it was a snap. I will add make sure you give it a good spray lubricant when installing it. I put mine in then drove to a remote cabin on a long dusty road. The dust made it tough to use the latch handle and wouldn't open. So I took it apart, cleaned it then added a good lubricant, have not had an issue since.

2016 Hyundai Elantra. Very simple installation in about 5 minutes with only 10mm ratchet. Fits great. Works great. Remote button works still. Very pleased.

At first, thought the electronics wouldn’t trigger after installing (nothing happened when I clicked the trunk open button while the trunk lid was open). but I figured out the electronics do not fire at all if the trunk is in the open position. once I closed the latch mechanism with a screw driver, clicking the trunk open button worked flawlessly. this is different than the OEM part which would trigger regardless of open or closed
