Very bright light compared to standard bulbs. 1st photo with Osram bulb, 2nd photo with original bulb in 2009 VW Rabbit. The difference in brightness is hardly noticeable during the day, but an improvement is noticeable when driving at night. I bought and installed these lights to be more visible at night, not for aesthetic value. Reading reviews before buying I noticed that many people complain that Osram lamps only last about a year. Who cares if they only last a year, just buy another set - the sushi you ate last night costs three times what those onions do. In addition, these brighter bulbs can save your life when driving down a winding mountain road at night, or prevent you from hitting someone when crossing a dark road! Take the kit, you will be happy.
