Review on ๐Ÿ”ต Abrams ThunderEye Lightbar Replacement Module - Corner Module in Blue - Enhanced Visibility Solution by Eric Fish

good until it rains

I bought a full size strip and it's bright, movements react instantly to my car with surface lights. but every time it rained for the first time, I would suddenly light up some specific lights at random, after a heavy rain they would sometimes even light up in random order with random flashes. It's bad when you're driving on the freeway and it starts raining and you can turn on the lights. I've tried hard to fix bad seals on the end caps and put a seal behind the pods. Then I found that the board was without gaskets, so now I'm going to try to cover it with epoxy. It's great when it works, such a simple solution to epoxy sealing their circuit boards and weatherproofing the connectors on the lights, but the quick disconnects for the lights aren't weatherproof either. Mine is connected to the IntelliSiren system and works great as long as it's dry. I even have trouble washing my truck if the shower doesn't flow. If they weatherproof it I'll only see 5 stars in the future, but right now I have to pull the fuse on my pole every time it rains and at this point I don't have a lightbar to use.
