It was a strange experience. It was packaged in a nice little wooden box - like something meant as a subtle decoration - with two LCD screen protectors and cleaning wipes for installation. I tried the first "damp" cloth to clean the camera LCD. He wasn't wet. The "Dry" wipe was dry, so I used a dry "Dry" wipe after the dry "Wet" - what else could I do? I then used a microfiber cloth as there were stains on the LCD - maybe because the 'wet' cloth was dry? I pulled the white tab on the backing diagonally as instructed to expose the tread's bonded surface, but the tab was not attached to a "thin backing" so there was no sticky side on the backing. Armed with this experience, I then tried a second set of screen and cloths. Again, the "wet" wipe was dry. I still wiped it with "wet" and then "dry" cloths, although the camera's LCD was now clean. This time we peeled the thin protective layer off the now sticky side of the thick LCD screen protector by pulling the tab and everything fitted perfectly. So in the end it worked. It took me two tries to get it working. Wet wipes were both dry (and therefore defective?). It worked in the end and I probably would have lost the second set when I needed it anyway. Did I mention what a lovely wooden box it came in?
