Snapping the front of the case onto the iPad felt like doing damage, but it's easy enough to install with just a hard finger press. The built-in screen protector is good if that's what you're looking for. However, this is not great for a beginner artist. When using the Apple Pencil, it looks like you're drawing over tape. I do not recommend if you use the pen frequently. There is an option to just cut the protector off yourself, but I'm not doing that yet as I don't want to remove the cover right now. The color is definitely lighter than shown in the picture. It looks like light salmon, but I personally like it.
