This sleepyhead fits snugly enough on my head to hold my long, thick hair in it, but not too snug to give me a headache. Whether I'm braiding my hair before bed, rolling it up with rollers or curling irons, this beanie keeps it all in. When I wake up, despite all my movements, it may move a little, but my hair is still in the cap. The cap itself is completely washable and fully adjustable. What surprised me is that the cap doesn't come off while I'm sleeping. As soon as I adjust it to my head, I wake up and it's still on. I even treated this sleepyhead overnight, and although the treatment rubbed my hair off the cap, I was able to wash and dry it thoroughly without the seams unraveling or shrinking. Even though I wash them over and over again, whether I use hair products or not, this sleepyhead still looks almost brand new.
