The foam cutout itself doesn't look like it was designed for a pro controller. Definitely seems like a bit more for an Xbox controller. Many of the reviews here mention that the notch causes the batteries to drain. So I tested the case with both a pro controller with a silicone case (as shown in the picture) and a pro controller without a silicone case. In my opinion, a professional grade controller with a silicone case provides a tighter fit and prevents bouncing. vicinity. The controller stays in place when the case is closed and upside down. I use the car travel case and so far my battery hasn't seemed to drain at all. The pro controller without the silicone case did exactly the opposite. It would often turn on when shaken and bounce around the case when closed. While the silicone case does a lot of good, it doesn't guarantee that the trigger buttons won't be pressed. I would recommend cutting off the foam around the triggers. Perhaps cutting the foam would make it looser, making the buttons less likely to get hit, and the snug fitting sides would prevent the controller from moving. Overall, the case does its job with a pleasant feel and quality. I would recommend this product with some modifications.
