We have had a Panasonic TV for over 5 years. We chose this V-Tech based on the promotional text and reviews. I was optimistic but was very disappointed. Long-distance? no different than a set from 5 years ago. voice quality? Very "tinny", not understandable at all. Instructions for use? It's confusing at best, don't expect to take a long time to understand how this system works. options? Well, they're all there, just like other brands, but are you trying to find and use them? Not as much. The menu system is not user friendly at all. Our 'old' Panasonic set was much easier to use, with far fewer 'button presses' and the need for multiple selections to control any of the available options. In short, a bad choice to improve our old system. I return phones and choose a different Panasonic system, hoping their "new and improved" units will be as good as the old ones. Wouldn't recommend this brand.
