Review on πŸ‘Œ Bison Designs Crescent Travel 38 Inch Men's Belt Accessories: The Ultimate Travel Companions by Mike Palma

Ends and edges seem to be quite resistant to abrasion

Very well made. The ends and edges appear to be largely protected from abrasion. The zip pocket is slightly "bulged" which offers additional space for bills etc. Oddly enough, given the wide strap, you have to fold US bills in three. There is no indication that the user is wearing a money belt, even if it's stuffed with 8+ bills, passport copies, etc. The one star off is based on my appreciation of the belt's simplicity (and concern that the aluminum buckle might not make it through security without being removed), and you can judge the style from the photos provided. One could argue that simplicity is a plus if you don't want to appear rich. I would recommend the belt to anyone who has a different passport and credit card storage strategy. Also, I usually wear size 33 pants, but I took the black size 38. I think it looks right to me when wearing it, about 6 inches "hangs out" from the buckle when worn. ***Edit after 6 months of use*** Changed from 4 to 5 stars. Basically, this is a great travel belt. I've driven through many airports in North America and Europe, occasionally loaded up with cash and never removed it while going through security. Never had problems with body scanners or metal detectors.
