I used this strap to store emergency money during our 7 week trip to Central America. It worked like a charm. I only had about $300 in it, but I bet you could put a few thousand dollars in it if you wanted to. The belt looks great and feels very durable. Love bison belt! I have several of these and bought this one because I like the one piece buckle which is attractive and secure without slipping. The zippered money belt is a lot longer than I expected (29+ inches) but that's ok - I can just fit more items inside! And this belt is comfortable - I don't notice anything unusual in the comfort due to the section of the belt money.

Very well made. The ends and edges appear to be largely protected from abrasion. The zip pocket is slightly "bulged" which offers additional space for bills etc. Oddly enough, given the wide strap, you have to fold US bills in three. The belt is strong, the buckle is metal so you can't put it through metal detectors. The zipper is a cheap no-name name and tends to fall off when opened quickly. For $25 I was expecting a YKK zipper. There are better options with a secure zipper. Mine had a lot of frayed strings and when I fastened it the strap discolored where it touched the metal. In general, I don't think it's worth it, but the choice is yours.
