I needed a narrow pitcher that would fit in an unusual place in my fridge. This does the job perfectly. The jug itself looks like good solid plastic, but the lid feels cheaper, especially when you squeeze to open and close the spout. The instructions specifically say not to shake it, I think it will leak and make a mess. It's ok, it works great for me. Easy to fill and easy to clean.
