So this labeler works fine but for some reason costs less than $20. Brother makes money off replacement label tapes that cost nearly $8 each. The printer places these automatic margins without the ability to make them narrower. So every label you print is wasted because you don't print anything. There have been complaints about this on the internet and on their website, and most say that some lead tape is needed at the beginning of the label, but there is no way to cut the tape at the end. I suspect older models had a rim option that would allow this, but the PT-70 no longer has it. It only has one "Length" option, and 1.2 inches is the narrowest you can choose, but that option still adds a space after the label. I put in a few key tags to organize my stuff and cutting out all that extra stuff seemed like a waste of money. My workaround was to create multiple labels at once with double spacing between them to save auto wide margins on each side and reduce waste. Otherwise the labeller is fine, just wish it hadn't wasted so much tape!
