I was looking for a very soft pillow that could be folded and manipulated. I don't like very fluffy pillows, but I just need a little support for my neck. I mostly sleep on my side and like it when I can fold down a soft pillow. This pillow is BIG. It is very fluffy and does not shrink easily. I wouldn't call it soft, I would call it quite a hard pillow. I'm used to it, mostly, but it's not exactly what I was looking for. When I'm lying on my back, I have to put a small pillow under my shoulders or my neck will collapse. If I sleep on my side, I tuck the pillow in so that only the front corner is under my head. All in all, if you're looking for a soft, plush pillow that can be manipulated, this isn't it. If you like thick, firm pillows that offer plenty of support, this is for you.
