This is actually my second Surface pen. My first was packaged in a Surface Pro 3 when I bought it. He worked for several years and began to "play up". I replaced it with a cheaper fake for $30 or so. And I started using the same cheaper one on my new SP7. I've seen the new button magnetize on the newer SP7. I decided to buy this new pen and gift the others to my daughter who goes to college. In short, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! - This pen feels much better and more natural when writing/drawing on the device. The writing quality has also improved significantly. I would highly recommend it to others as I have found a new "value" of quality with a difference in price. It also syncs better with handwriting features in Windows 10 and single or double click to launch certain handwriting apps. I will buy again.
