Review on 🚬 RoadPro RP 452: Compact and Safe Self-Extinguishing Ashtray for On-the-Go Smokers by Tommy Penn

Restricted use for ashtrays

For us social outcasts, called smokers, this seemed to be a godsend. Cars no longer have ashtrays, so smokers have a choice: throw cigarettes out of the window - which is strictly forbidden - or not, which can unsettle drivers. This little gadget makes a wonderful ashtray, fits perfectly in your car's cup holder, is very handy and easy to use and clean - HOWEVER, never leave it in the car overnight or with the windows closed. These things just stink horribly. It smells like rotten plastic and just seeps into the car. We opened the car door the next morning and the smell was terrible. I've washed it with bleach, pine-sol, fabreze, ammonia and hydrogen peroxide and the smell won't go away. It's much worse when exposed to heat or sunlight. It's a really great idea and it does everything it says on the tin but put it away when you get out of the car.

Pros
  • House and kitchen
Cons
  • I don't remember
