Works fine for me, but someone might need something faster.

Bought for a Thinkpad x220 Hackintosh project. There were no problems formatting or using the disk. Even if the brand name is totally unknown, this is indeed a worthwhile purchase considering what it is. Any comparable PCIe/NVMe drive from a major manufacturer is likely to cost twice as much. I definitely recommend it if you're looking to increase the speed of a laptop or computer that supports this type of drive, but keep your expectations in check. Some SSD tests I've run show good speeds, but they won't surprise anyone anytime soon.
