I'm not one to write negative reviews and since EVERY review of this blanket gives such high marks I went straight out and bought this VERY EXPENSIVE BLANKET. THERE ARE ONLY TWO ADVANTAGES OF THIS BLANKET. Color and Warmth CONS, .Price for TITLE ONLY, Scratchy, itchy material and NO edge stitching. Revival rugs. I put them next to each other. Thick, same softness. Hands Down Fairibault warmth, both heaviness, Fairibault with a thick, dense, fully woven and fully piped duvet. I can pull a blanket over my face, but not on Hudson Bay. IN THIS CASE, you're paying HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS MORE for the name and place it was made. I don't return items I normally buy, but I doubt it. not currently selling in the US. I have to follow my instincts.
