Really warm on comforters and bedspreads

My husband grew up in Canada and remembered he always had a Hudson's Bay comforter. So I decided to surprise him. That's all he remembered and he was delighted with it. It's really warm here, maybe a little warm for Southern California, but we have cool winter nights. He is so happy with his new blanket.

Comfortable classic

Slightly rough/prickly. You use a sheet underneath and then it's not a problem. The blanket is a real luxury, it is warm and stylish. My wife sleeps "hot" and was concerned it would be too hot, but says it somehow regulates the heat. He breathes best, no longer sweats at night.

Cons
  • Definitely bad product

It's finally here: Bedspread

There's nothing like the HBC bedspread, a true classic. In my head I thought the quality had probably deteriorated over the decades, but I was wrong. It's just like my grandma's blanket and the quality is still great. Wool maintains the ideal sleeping temperature. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time

Matching wool blanket

I bought this blanket for my bed at home for those cold winter nights. When I was at school I made a historical re-enactment of the French fur trade era and I always liked this model. Remember this blanket is perfect if you are planning a winter hike in Iceland. Don't expect to sleep under it if you live in the tropics, fry.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Cleanliness

Worth every cent: duvets

The sleeping comfort under this high-quality wool blanket is incomparable. I was looking for a duvet with some weight and this was the perfect choice. 108 x 100 inches is more than enough to cover a king size bed. I find wool very comfortable and doesn't irritate my skin like other wool blankets I've used in the past.

The name matters

I'm not one to write negative reviews and since EVERY review of this blanket gives such high marks I went straight out and bought this VERY EXPENSIVE BLANKET. THERE ARE ONLY TWO ADVANTAGES OF THIS BLANKET. Color and Warmth CONS, .Price for TITLE ONLY, Scratchy, itchy material and NO edge stitching. Revival rugs. I put them next to each other. Thick, same softness. Hands Down Fairibault warmth, both heaviness, Fairibault with a thick, dense, fully woven and fully piped duvet. I can pull a…
