Review on Epson L132 inkjet printer by Stanislaw Malkinski ᠌

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

Epson acted very wisely in his time, finally freeing home printers from the hated tiny cartridges. For me personally, with all the listed shortcomings for its cost and the cost of printing, by and large, this is, if not an ideal model for home color printing, then at least a very worthy one, since it covers all my needs. Has some pros: Certainly in the pluses of CISS. Although with native ink, and even more so with analogues, the savings are excellent. The print quality for 4 colors is excellent. It doesn’t quite reach the photographic level, in some places you need to make a profile for the photos. I have several prepared - I batch process photos and get the most natural colors without any problems. For everyday photo printing, I don’t bother at all, I print as is. Prints black and white pages quickly. Be very careful with photo paper. Doesn't smear prints. Cons: On plain paper, colors can be greatly distorted during full-color printing - basically all red shades are darkened. But this is again due to the fact that the printer does not know what whiteness the paper is. To do this, I pass photos through the profile where I twist the red colors. The print speed is quite slow, especially at maximum settings. For large volumes, this slows down the workflow. Loudly picks up paper, it can scare at home at night :) Refilling ink requires some skill if you are refilling with non-original ink. In light clothes it is better not to pour :) The feeder cover at the top is missing - when the printer is idle, the paper feeder slot becomes dusty, which does not benefit the rollers inside. (In the L800, for example, there is such a cover) The rollers, by the way, are quite sensitive to dust - it is advisable to clean it periodically - a lot depends on the living conditions of the printer and the paper itself - some can be very dusty when printing. With large volumes of color printing on plain paper (say, from 100 sheets at a time), it starts to streak quite quickly - therefore, you need to monitor what you print and, when streaks appear, do a head cleaning (through native software). And vice versa, if you rarely print, and even on non-native ink, stripes may appear again - the output is the same - cleaning the print head. In short, seven troubles - one answer. Strictly speaking, immediately borderless prints only 10 * 15, in order to print all other formats without borders, you need to adjust the borders yourself, often empirically
