Review on 🎀 Pyle PMKSH28 Black Microphone Boom Suspension Stand: Scissor Spring Arm Floor Mic Stand with Shock Mount & Pop Filter – Ultimate Audio Stability and Clarity by Jeff Addison

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can only say WOW!

I bought one of these boom mic stands for a variety of uses including podcast recording, twitch streaming and general use on Zoom calls. It's really awesome. The quality is excellent. Very heavy and well built. I don't mind dropping the mic when it's fully extended, even if it's on a carpet. My favorite part about these stands is being able to extend the boom over my computer monitors, which are mounted on the monitor mount in the highest setting. I use a standing desk so I had to fiddle with my previous poles to get it working, but this stand really takes the excitement out of it. I just set it up at my desk and the arrow reaches with no problem. I've tried several darts, even the expensive ones from Sweet Water (great stuff), none of them compare to the value you get on this stand. I'm very picky about my gear and I know this bench will stand the test of time. This stand was so impressive that I ordered another one. This stand seems to be a niche product but really should suit those looking to boom. The main reason is that you can just mute the mic and MOVE it. I need this so I can use it for my online calls and also take it to the studio without taking apart the whole setup. I am very satisfied with both microphone stands. The quality is impeccable on both. Definitely 5 stars!
