Extremely durable and water resistant, but sometimes not visible on Windows

This is a really solid and beautiful external hard drive. It seems that it can be plugged in and is 99% waterproof and 99.999% dustproof. It's relatively fast for file transfers on Windows 10. It uses USB 3.0 with a unique USB-C cable on both ends and a USB-C to USB 3.0 adapter. It worked fine for about three months, and then it suddenly disappeared from Windows Explorer without moving or changing the USB port, even though the light on it was on, indicating the device was powered on. I changed the USB port it is plugged into on the PC and it's back. I have read other MAC reviews where they are no longer visible. So I will delete the data and no longer rely on it. It's been about three months since I bought it, so it's too late to return it for a refund, so STBM is warning you.
