I have very sensitive skin. Look, Ivory & Dove are burning my skin. Colgate toothpaste irritates the skin around the mouth causing dark spots. Like I said, I have super sensitive skin. Pure castile soap is the only soap that won't burn your face or irritate your skin. My skin does not tolerate fragrances, so Papoutsani's Pure Greek Olive Oil Soap is a good choice. If you're unfamiliar with straight castile soap, it's sulfate-free, so it doesn't lather like other types of soap. However, they still remove dirt and oil from the skin. It's not hard so you can use it on your face if you want. Some people complain about the "strong smell". This "aroma" is the natural smell of olive oil in high concentration. When I went there I bought other brands of soap directly from the mom and pop soap makers in Greece. They all smell the same. Savon de Marseille, another brand I buy, has an even stronger smell, IMHO. The smell doesn't bother me, but I understand that some might not like it. Also note that you should keep the bar dry on the draining soap dish as it will melt faster if left in water. I recommend Papoutsanis Pure Greek Olive Oil Soap for sensitive skin.
