Review on Fownes Cashmere Conductive Lambskin Gloves in 2XL Size by Stephen Vasquez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Decayed in a week!

I bought these to use as driving gloves and that's all I've used them for. When I put them on for the first time, about a half hour drive, when I took off most of the cashmere, the lining came loose on my arms! My arms were completely covered with loose cashmere hair. Then I thought about returning them but decided to wait because they fit so well. I used them again the next day commuting to and from work and had trouble taking them off both times. The pads were starting to stick to my fingers so I wanted to pull them out of my gloves. I managed to keep the liner in my gloves, but with difficulty. The manuscript hung on the wall. On the third day, the pads were completely turned inside out when I took them off when I got to work. I have to clarify that they fit me perfectly and my hands were clean and dry when I put the gloves on --- no lotion, sweat etc. The perfect fit was the reason I kept trying to get them to work, so the problem isn't that they're tight on my arms at all. As I was trying to tuck the liner back into my gloves to drive home, the stitching along my right thumb ripped, leaving a HUGE hole. The lining is so thin you can see through it (once it's out of the glove) so it's obvious it won't stand the test of time. The liner is not fixed in the glove, allowing it to move freely and pull completely out of the glove. And the lining is incredibly thin. The weave is very, very loose; it reminded me of the look of burlap with lots of space between the threads. So the gloves lasted every three days with nothing but driving; Snow didn't fall on them and didn't do anything special. In fact I treated them very carefully as I was skeptical about the quality of their construction and wanted them to last. They were always dry inside and out. I don't understand how anyone can wear these gloves for more than a few days. Stay away from this crappy product! The picture looks good but they are the WORST QUALITY.
