Okay, the bad news first, this tarp has a weak point and that is where the grommets (metal rings) are built into the fabric. If there is enough tension, the fabric will separate from the ring. How much tension? When I pull the cord I tied around the grommet to tighten the tarp, it starts to tear. This problem can be solved by taking another material (tape, canvas material, etc.) and sewing it around and over the grommets. on both sides, before or after the break. Good news: the rest of the tarpaulin works very well. It is waterproof, does not deteriorate and protects well from the wind. If you are looking for a lightweight tarp that will not be subjected to constant tension or stress then this is the one for you. If you are looking for something stronger I would look elsewhere.
