At first my dog was used to pillows, but then he felt that they were under him. I got this because I thought it might be the solution for him when the weather is really bad. It may be fine for other dogs, but my dog won't use it. It doesn't even rain from cats and dogs, it snows, the wind blows, hail, thunder, frost. He tried to bury him, but that was all he cared about. If the weather is very bad, he'll stand on the porch, hug the garage door, and then turn and go back inside - he thinks my oriental rug is a better fit. Sigh. . . .
