I don't have many slides so this manual viewer is fine. It has a good, large, bright viewing window. If I accidentally insert a slide, it may not fall properly; then I unload it and do it right. That should take the stars off me, not the viewer. Overall it does what I bought it for better than I expected and at a reasonable price.
