The slide ejection usually does not work, the slide gets stuck in the ejection slot. I often have to pick up the device and pull the shutter back out of the input socket.

Although the viewer worked and the image was fine, one or more slides occasionally got stuck in the viewer. I had to shake it to get the foil out. Sometimes it happened so often that it was annoying.

Such an easy way to preview your slides. I love that you can leave the lights on while just lowering the slide. I also like how the slide folds into a tray at the bottom with the push of a button.

As far as I can tell, this viewer is exactly the same as those that cost $5, $10, and even $15 more. The only difference seems to be the model number listed and the decals. Everything is made in China. This viewer works as described with bright and sharp images.

That should take the stars off me, not the viewer. Overall it does what I bought it for better than I expected and at a reasonable price.

I found some boxes of old family slides from 40-50 years ago. We needed a way to display them. Luckily, they still attract viewers. This works perfectly and we can look back in time. I scanned about 500 negatives in about five hours. The scanning process is very fast. I just scanned them as is since I run everything through Photoshop anyway, which is much more accurate than the "stepped" features for brightness, color etc. These were old negatives that were 25+ years old , so some colors could change . as well as saturation, which I sometimes found too much. This could have been the result of the original negatives or the scanner, but most of the scans were fairly accurate.
