UPDATE two weeks later my son loves it and prefers it to other types. Games no longer crash. I assume that the rubber band will stretch after a short time. It looks great, feels solid, closes well, and I trust it to protect games. However, it had two disadvantages for our purposes, but is otherwise very well made. 3DS games tend to slip a little when there is a game on the other side of the page. Maybe the rubber strap will stretch over time and that will pass, but right now I'm worried that games might slip out of the case and fall out when you turn the pages. Another crash which is partly my fault for not noticing it in the description. It has two pages where Switch games are saved. My son has a lot of DS, 3DS and Switch games. Therefore, it is easier to keep them in separate containers. He needs two of these for his DS and 3DS games and separate storage boxes for Switch games.
