Needed for testing HIGH Proofs! Use it for whiskey and spirits!
I wish I knew I should buy this before I started distilling my alcohol as the only other hydrometer I had was for the mash that is used BEFORE you distill. Now I know! If you want to make whiskey, buy it for distilling and get another for mash that can give lower readings. This one is for higher readings only and doesn't come with a vial so make sure you get a vial before you buy one.
