I've had a choice for years. He finally died after about 8 years. My old trimmer trimmed my beard just fine, but it didn't have adjustable attachments and it wasn't waterproof at all, so I decided to try something new. This trimmer is a waste of time. I have fairly fine blonde hair and this trimmer just couldn't cut it. He literally couldn't cut his thin blond facial hair. It twitched like crazy a few times, but mostly just buzzed when going back and into fourth. As for the regulated protection, everything is bad here too. I can't say exactly how bad as I gave up when a bare blade couldn't cut SINGLE whiskers after a full charge, but I have my doubts about the durability of the device. After Müller, I also tried Remington. That was bad too. As a result, received another wave. The Wahl doesn't have adjustable guards and isn't waterproof, but it has real blades and really gets the job done. Avoid this product.
