I am finding that I am not alone about this product when I say "I wish I read and understood the description better" when it comes to the "additional" electrical plugs. I didn't understand that BOTH electrical connections are both on or both off when you activate the switch. I was "expecting" to be able to plug in a reverse osmosis UV connection in one of the plugs- THAT'S when I finally realized that they both only work when you use the air switch. I will have to own it since I made assumptions and didn't ask questions before I bought it. but I will have to swap it out for a different unit since I have a limited amount of space in that cabinet and can't spare the extra space the plug box takes up if it doesn't do what I was hoping for. As an air switch, it does work as intended, so I really don't have anything bad to say about the product itself.
