If you want to play at 240Hz and beyond and don't want to buy a raw panel, driver board and search for or build a case, this is the bottom of the list. Click Buy because ASUS has taken over the market. That doesn't mean this product deserves 5 stars. Yes, games are great. But even after returning my first monitor due to poor quality control (blurry text, low brightness, pre-existing screen damage, heavy IPS see-through), my new monitor shows huge, shiny patches of backlighting at the edges of the monitor. They have hard highlights and look like they were caused by heavy pressure on a small area. Very intense bright spots appear in darker scenes. This is not an ordinary bleeding that occurs evenly down the sides. After my first ride with it, one of the reflective layers in the display came off and very dark scenes now show ripples that move when I lightly touch the back. Monitor. It's too late to return it now and not worth the hassle for me. I'm sure I would get something with the same or different flaws. The tripod mounting system is a joke. I built something using industrial velcro and a tripod mount to adapt to VESA. It works and isn't fancy, but I honestly don't understand why ASUS couldn't ditch the plastic bracket or just go with the industry standard and make VESA holes on the back. All in all, that's 60 euros less than one of the best gaming monitors for every taste: the ViewSonic ELITE XG270. And it's a lot smaller, has more motion blur, and has obvious quality control and design issues. Don't go into this purchase blindly. This is a good product for its features, but the ASUS brand is doing you a disservice.
