I bought this kit after one of my dryer roller bearings seized and made a horrible squeak followed by a grinding noise. Replaced everything that came in the kit. Everything worked and I was happy that I saved a lot by not buying original parts. Then the skunk smell started. After the first dry cycle, our laundry room started to smell like skunks. I made sure it didn't come off the dryer drum. I removed the dryer top panel and indeed the smell came from one of the new components. Maybe the belt, because it wears out. The smell is so annoying it's unbearable and I buy genuine parts to get rid of it. I read other reviews after installing and found at least one other person having the same experience. I've also read that these parts can fail after a few days, weeks, or months, and honestly I'm not interested in replacing parts every few months just to save some money. You might be lucky and not have the same experience as me, but I think it might really be a case of "you get what you pay for". Conclusion: The parts fit well and seem to be a great replacement. a certain unpleasant odor emanating from at least one of the new parts after installation and use. Many other reviews say these parts fail after just a few months. Treat yourself to the best possible durability and odorless performance. - These details MAY take a while for someone else. They're a good buy for those on a fairly tight budget and willing to throw the dice at them for the long haul.
