This style of slipper is amazingly hard to find for some reason - slip on that only covers the toes and doesn't need to be pulled on over the heel, and with a soft sole. Seems like most slippers are made with a plastic or hard rubber sole but I don't like that because walking in them sounds like a Clydesdale clomping around on hard floors. The rubber dots on these slippers just make a little squishing sound on my hard floors; so much quieter than the hard-soled kind. You can find soft-soled slippers that cover the entire foot of course, but I don't like that either, because only my toes get cold, and those boot style slippers make my feet too hot. So these are just what I was looking for, to replace slippers in a similar style that are about 15-20 years old, and only need to be replaced because the foam in them finally broke down completely. The foam in these slippers is really thick, so I hope they'll last at least a few years, considering I only need them about one or two months out of the year for our brief California winters. The only complaint I have with these is they're a little small. I normally wear a size 7, so I bought the size 7-9, but they barely fit. My heel is right on the edge of the slipper, and as I walk, my feet tend to slowly slip back. Not a huge deal since I don't wear them much, but I wish I'd gotten a size larger.
