If the key is broken Replace the key case
I received a car with a broken key case. Was replaced with this one, looks like new. A small part that fits over the neck of the key fits very well. This is an improvement over the original shell but it fits very well. I had to use pliers to carefully thread the metal key through this part. However, it is better to have it tight than loose as it can loosen with every turn of your car's ignition.
