I bought a microfiber hair band and it didn't help. After 30+ minutes my hair was still wet and the water was dripping like rain. Then I realized that the towel always did a good job. Then this article. The material is thinner than a regular towel but worked well which worries me. I have long and thick hair, even after severe thinning (typical Asian hair). I wish it was a little bigger but other than that no complaints. The button is a little loose so next time I'll wrap it even tighter around my head and see if it stays in place. I highly recommend this over any microfiber, even if they say "super absorbent".
