NOT waterproof or even waterproof

We experienced a few days of light rain shortly after purchase. The lights didn't stay in the mode I chose, but ended up in a mode I could live with. But then we had another rain this week and the mode switched to a bright, high-flashing display that sure lit up in my neighbor's window and like a strobe light outside their bedroom at night would have been very annoying. So I had to turn them off. I just missed the return window by two days!. I had to send them back immediately but didn't want to unwind them from my large bush. Now I have to anyway. Pooh!
