I have an Overrange GE Microwave (Model #JVM3160DFWW) and one of the Light bulbs in the lighting range below went out after about 2 years. The only replacement bulbs I could find cost about twice as much as this model. The only thing that bothered me was that this LED bulb didn't specifically say it would work for my model, but I ordered it anyway and it works great. I've swapped out both bulbs and they are brighter and actually seem to be around 6000K giving you that nice (slightly blue) light you would get outside on a sunny day. The only problem is that they only work great at full power. My microwave has a lower light level, but the LEDs seem to flicker slightly. It's barely noticeable, but it worries me and I guess it's not good for a lightbulb. Full power works great. The exchange is very easy. Simply loosen a Phillips screw and the cover opens on a hinge and you unscrew the old bulb, screw in the new one and then screw the cover back on and you're done. The $7 I paid for two bulbs was a lot nicer than the $15 for each bulb.
